Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: August 31, 2026 · Last updated: August 31, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) describes prohibited uses of the Exaro Studio website, marketplace, asset-generation tools, APIs, downloadable content, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy forms part of and is incorporated into the Exaro Studio Terms of Service.
By using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy.
1. The Short Version
Exaro is intended to help people create legitimate assets and content for games, applications, media, and other creative projects.
Do not use Exaro to:
- break the law;
- exploit or sexualize minors;
- create nonconsensual intimate imagery;
- fraudulently impersonate real people;
- violate another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- attack or compromise computer systems;
- circumvent our account, payment, credit, safety, or usage restrictions;
- redistribute Exaro marketplace Assets in violation of their license; or
- resell access to Exaro’s generation infrastructure as your own competing service.
These examples are not exhaustive.
2. Illegal or Harmful Activity
You may not use the Services to create, upload, distribute, facilitate, or promote material or activity that violates applicable law.
You also may not use the Services to facilitate:
- fraud;
- extortion;
- identity theft;
- deceptive impersonation;
- unauthorized access to computer systems;
- distribution of malicious software;
- theft of credentials or authentication information;
- stalking or targeted harassment;
- trafficking or exploitation; or
- other unlawful conduct.
The fact that an Asset or output is fictional, generated, or synthetic does not excuse otherwise unlawful use.
3. Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
You may not use Exaro to create, upload, request, modify, possess through the Services, or distribute:
- child sexual abuse material;
- sexual or sexually exploitative content involving a person under 18;
- sexualized depictions of a person who appears to be under 18;
- AI-generated or synthetic sexual depictions of minors; or
- content intended to facilitate the sexual exploitation or grooming of minors.
We may immediately suspend accounts associated with such activity and may preserve or report information where required or permitted by law.
4. Nonconsensual Intimate Content
You may not use the Services to create, modify, upload, or distribute intimate or sexually explicit depictions of an identifiable real person without that person’s consent.
This prohibition applies to both authentic material and synthetic or AI-generated material, including:
- deepfake images;
- generated video;
- edited photographs;
- synthetic nudity; and
- other realistic digital representations.
You may not use Exaro to threaten to create or distribute such material.
5. Real People, Voices, and Likenesses
Do not use the Services to misuse another person’s identity, likeness, image, voice, biometric characteristics, or other identifying attributes.
If you upload or use material depicting or reproducing an identifiable person, you are responsible for having the rights, permissions, consents, or other lawful basis necessary for your intended use.
You may not use Exaro-generated or Exaro-processed content to:
- fraudulently impersonate another person;
- falsely suggest that another person made a statement or took an action;
- falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation;
- deceive another person about the authenticity of a communication;
- conduct financial or identity fraud;
- harass or defame another person; or
- create unauthorized voice clones for deceptive purposes.
Nothing in this section prohibits lawful uses such as parody, commentary, fictionalization, or other uses protected by applicable law, but you remain responsible for determining whether your use is lawful.
6. Intellectual Property
You may not knowingly use the Services to infringe another person’s:
- copyright;
- trademark;
- patent;
- trade secret;
- right of publicity;
- contractual rights; or
- other intellectual-property or proprietary rights.
For example, you should not instruct Exaro to reproduce a third party’s protected character, branded Asset, model, artwork, music, voice performance, or other protected work unless you have permission or another lawful right to do so.
Similarity to a general artistic genre, historical period, design category, or aesthetic does not by itself violate this Policy.
You are responsible for evaluating whether you have sufficient rights to commercially use the inputs you provide and the resulting outputs.
7. Your Uploads and Reference Material
Exaro may allow you to upload reference images, models, meshes, textures, audio, prompts, or other materials (“Inputs”).
By providing an Input, you represent that you have the rights or legal authority necessary to provide and use that Input for the requested purpose.
You may not upload:
- material obtained unlawfully;
- private information you are not authorized to disclose;
- malicious files or code;
- content intended to compromise our Services;
- copyrighted or otherwise protected material where your use is unlawful; or
- material that otherwise violates this Policy.
You remain responsible for your Inputs and your use of outputs generated from them.
Our handling of Inputs and other personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Security and Platform Abuse
You may not attempt to interfere with or compromise the Services.
Prohibited activity includes:
- probing or scanning systems for vulnerabilities without authorization;
- exploiting a vulnerability;
- bypassing authentication;
- obtaining another user’s credentials;
- accessing another user’s account or files without authorization;
- bypassing rate limits;
- bypassing generation limits;
- bypassing payment or metering systems;
- circumventing safety mechanisms;
- interfering with platform availability;
- introducing viruses, malware, ransomware, or other harmful code; or
- attempting to obtain unauthorized access to Exaro infrastructure, models, prompts, source code, weights, systems, or data.
If you discover a security vulnerability, contact support@codehawke.com rather than exploiting it.
Good-faith security research authorized by Exaro is not prohibited.
9. Automated Access and Scraping
You may not use bots, scripts, crawlers, automated agents, or similar systems to access the Services in a manner that:
- circumvents technical controls;
- creates accounts automatically;
- bulk-downloads marketplace Assets;
- scrapes protected Asset files;
- creates unauthorized datasets from Exaro Assets;
- interferes with normal operation of the Services; or
- exceeds documented API limitations.
Ordinary search-engine indexing and automated access expressly authorized by Exaro are permitted.
Use of an official Exaro API is subject to its applicable documentation, rate limits, and license terms.
10. Plans, Credits, and Account Abuse
Subscription benefits, marketplace balances, generation credits, promotional credits, and similar benefits are provided according to the rules of the applicable plan or promotion.
You may not attempt to obtain additional usage by:
- creating multiple accounts to evade limits;
- repeatedly creating and cancelling accounts;
- sharing credentials with unrelated users;
- manipulating referrals;
- exploiting promotional offers;
- automating account registration;
- using fraudulent payment information;
- manipulating usage meters; or
- otherwise circumventing plan restrictions.
We may combine information associated with accounts where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or fraud.
11. Reselling the Service
Unless expressly permitted by a separate written agreement with Exaro, you may not:
- resell Exaro generation credits;
- sublicense account access;
- expose Exaro generation functionality as your own competing API or hosted generation service;
- white-label the Services;
- operate a service whose primary function is routing third-party generation requests through your Exaro account; or
- otherwise resell raw access to Exaro infrastructure.
This does not prohibit using Exaro to produce lawful Assets incorporated into your own games, applications, films, products, or other Projects.
Building things with Exaro is exactly what the Services are intended for.
12. Marketplace Assets
Marketplace Assets are governed by the Exaro Asset License and applicable product-specific terms.
You may use purchased Assets in permitted commercial Projects.
You may not use the marketplace to:
- bulk-download Assets for redistribution;
- resell Assets as standalone Assets;
- repackage Assets into competing asset packs;
- upload purchased Assets to other marketplaces;
- distribute source Assets through public repositories; or
- otherwise circumvent the applicable Asset license.
For detailed licensing rights, see the Exaro Terms of Service and applicable Asset License.
13. AI and Machine-Learning Training
Unless Exaro expressly authorizes it in writing, you may not systematically download, scrape, or extract Exaro marketplace Assets for the purpose of:
- training an AI or machine-learning model;
- fine-tuning a model;
- building a training dataset;
- building a competing generative-asset system;
- creating embeddings or representations intended to reconstruct or reproduce the Assets; or
- creating a substantially similar asset library.
This restriction does not prohibit ordinary use of Exaro Assets inside software or creative workflows that incorporate AI tools where the Asset itself is not being used as unauthorized training data.
14. Misrepresentation
You may not falsely represent:
- that Exaro endorses you or your product;
- that Exaro created material it did not create;
- that you are an employee, representative, or agent of Exaro;
- that an Asset has an Exaro Verified designation when it does not;
- that an AI-generated work depicts an actual event when the representation is intended to materially deceive another person; or
- that you possess rights, permissions, certifications, or approvals that you do not possess.
15. Lawful Fictional Content
Exaro is a game-development and creative platform.
This Policy does not prohibit content merely because it contains fictional:
- weapons;
- combat;
- violence;
- horror;
- fantasy;
- crime;
- historical warfare; or
- other themes commonly found in games, films, and fictional media.
Such content remains subject to applicable law and the other provisions of this Policy.
16. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this Policy.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- reject a generation request;
- remove or disable content;
- restrict particular features;
- limit API access;
- suspend an account;
- terminate an account;
- revoke promotional credits obtained through abuse;
- prevent creation of additional accounts; or
- take other reasonable measures necessary to protect Exaro, our users, or third parties.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct a violation.
Serious violations may result in immediate action.
Examples include:
- child exploitation;
- fraud;
- malicious security activity;
- deliberate infringement at scale;
- nonconsensual intimate imagery;
- repeated attempts to evade enforcement; or
- conduct presenting an immediate risk to users or the Services.
Enforcement decisions may take into account the nature, severity, frequency, intent, and potential consequences of the conduct.
17. Refunds Following Violations
Suspension or termination for violation of this Policy does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
Unused subscription benefits, credits, or marketplace balances may be forfeited where permitted by applicable law and the applicable Terms.
Nothing in this section limits refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

We may also take appropriate steps where necessary to address fraud, security threats, exploitation, or imminent risks of harm.
Our handling of personal information remains subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
20. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the Services, technology, or applicable law changes.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice where required.
