The Sun, eight planets, the Moon, Pluto and five seeded worlds at true scale, as drag-and-drop Blueprints: 64K Earth, atmospheric entry from orbit to the ground, Saturn's shadowed rings, an in-house 16K star sky, Unreal Engine 5.6 - 5.8.
Celestial Bodies puts the Sun, the eight planets, the Moon, Pluto and five seeded fictional worlds into Unreal Engine at true scale, each one a Blueprint you drag into a level.
Earth - 64K day map (UDIM virtual texture), 32K cloud map, city lights on the night side, ocean sun glint from a public-domain water mask - Unreal sky atmosphere sized to the planet, with sunrise and sunset from orbit - Atmospheric entry: fly from orbit to the ground in one flight. Below the cloud shell, volumetric clouds take over; mountains are true-scale terrain; re-entry glow, heat shimmer and buffeting on the way down - Optional streamed ground imagery (NASA GIBS, public domain) sharpens the land under the camera
The rest of the system - The Moon (32K), Mercury, Venus, Mars and Pluto with relief; Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune with banded atmospheres; Saturn's rings cast shadow on the planet and catch its shadow - The Sun with animated granulation, limb darkening and a corona - Five seeded fictional worlds (terran, desert, ice, lava and a gas giant) for space games
Built to use - 18 drag-and-drop Blueprints: every body, a star dome and a sun light. A body finds the level's sun by itself - Every look value (cloud cover, night lights, ocean glint, haze, ring shadow, star brightness and more) on the details panel and keyable in Sequencer; switch texture resolution from 2K to 64K per body - In-house 16K star sky with a Milky Way, safe to ship in your game - Quality presets (Low, Medium, High, Cinematic) from Blueprint or the console - A fly pawn whose speed follows your height, with a height and speed readout - Demo levels: SolarSystem, AtmosphericEntry and NewWorlds, plus five Level Sequence showcase shots - ExaroCelestial C++ plugin with source, for Unreal Engine 5.6, 5.7 and 5.8
Every map is public domain or made in-house; credits are in CREDITS.txt.
