A soldiers' wedge (A-frame) tent of worn unbleached linen over a ridge pole on two wooden uprights, door flaps tied back, hemp guy lines through wooden slides to hand-split pegs. Game ready for Unreal, Unity and Godot.
A common (wedge) tent of the kind armies of the period pitched in the field, for camps of the 1836 campaign that ended at the Alamo and San Jacinto: an A-frame tent of unbleached linen, about 2.1 m wide, 2.5 m deep and 2 m to the ridge.
The canvas is sewn from four widths of cloth on each side with lapped seams, a doubled ridge band and a turned hem, and carries campaign wear: dirt wicked up from the ground, staining and dust in the seams. A ridge pole rests on two wooden uprights whose forged iron spindles pass up through worked eyelets in the ridge. The front is split into two door flaps, folded back round the corners and tied with cotton tapes, so the inside is open to view.
Fore and aft guy lines loop over the spindles and run through wooden slides to larger pegs; the hem is pegged out through hand-sewn eyelets with short hemp loops to hand-split wooden pegs. Nothing modern: no zips, no metal grommets, no sawn hardware.
24,000 triangles in a single LOD (no LOD chain), one PBR material (4096 px colour and normal maps; the GLB also carries its roughness map), real-world scale with its origin on the ground at the tent's centre, door facing -Y. Static mesh: FBX for Unreal and Unity and GLB for Godot, three.js and glTF importers, with PNG textures.
