Asset details
A small coopered oak gunpowder keg with copper hoops and a wooden bung, plus an open keg showing the black powder inside. Game ready for Unreal, Unity and Godot.
A small wooden gunpowder keg of the early 19th century, worn and dirty from storage and handling: right for a fort's powder magazine (the Alamo in 1836 and the Texas Revolution), a gun battery, a ship's hold, a frontier trading post or a western town.
Sixteen oak staves bulge out at the bilge and are held by four copper hoops tacked at the lap: powder kegs kept iron away from the powder for fear of sparks. Planked heads sit in the chimes, and a tapered wooden bung is driven into the top head.
Two meshes: the closed keg (PowderKeg, 4,232 triangles) and an open keg with its head off and black powder heaped inside (PowderKegOpen, 4,436 triangles). Each is a single LOD with one PBR material (2048 px colour and normal maps; the GLB also carries its roughness map), real-world scale (30 cm across, 40 cm tall) with its origin on the floor at the keg's centre. Static meshes: FBX for Unreal and Unity and GLB for Godot, three.js and glTF importers, with PNG textures.
