Sailing Catamaran (Rigged & Animated: Full Interior, Wind-Filled Sails, Breaks In Half and Sinks)

A modern 45 ft cruising catamaran with a saloon, galley, cabins and heads you can walk through, ready for your game or film.

108 clips drive it. Under way: reach on either tack with sails that fill, flog and shake in the wind, hoist, lower and reef, ease, tack and gybe, steer, run the engines ahead and astern, and work the anchor, boarding stairs and tender. Aboard: the cockpit doors, cabin doors, hatches, lockers, fridge, oven, chart table and saloon table all move, and the galley and head fixtures have their own clips.

Destruction: she dismasts, breaks in half across both hulls and sinks with the rig falling under gravity and wreckage left adrift, or she floods below decks and founders whole. Floating pieces are stowed in the hull until the break, so nothing shows before it.

Mechanism rig of 226 bones, with rib bones in the sails. 126,987 triangles, real-world scale in metres, PBR materials, designed collision. The sea in the film is our render set and is not included: the download is the boat and its animations.
