Classic Wooden Sloop (Rigged & Animated: Sailing, Full Interior, Breaks In Half and Sinks)

A 40 ft wooden sloop of the 1930s, long keel and spoon bow, teak decks and a varnished cabin, ready to sail in your game or film.

Fifty-seven clips drive it. Under way: hoist, lower and reef the main, hoist and lower the jib, sheet and ease both sails, luff, tack, gybe, steer with a turning wheel and rudder, and lower or raise the anchor. Aboard: the companionway, forehatch, skylight, doors, lockers, chart table and folding saloon table all open, the galley pump runs and the stove swings on its gimbals, and the head works, from the sink tap and shower to the lid, seat and flush.

Destruction: she dismasts, breaks in half amidships and the two halves sink, leaving wreckage adrift. Floating pieces are stowed in the hull until the break, so nothing shows before it.

Mechanism rig of 142 bones with pleated bone chains in the sails. 72,415 triangles, real-world scale in metres, PBR materials. The sea in the film is our render set and is not included: the download is the boat and its animations.
